NWPPS version 3.0 contains a few new features, as well as some revamped old ones. A lite version of the program will be available for those that hate downloading overly large files.

In other, related news, BETA 6 of version NWPPS 2.0, for windows is being converted into C# code and streamlined into the 3.0 release and should be available for testing very soon.

Any questions should be posted on our forums, you will need to be a sourceforge.net member to post on our forums, however.

Good News! BETA 5 Build 1330 and 1339 are now available from the downloads section, the source files are available as well. However the database (nwpps2_rse.mdb) is still not exactly finished yet, I'm still waiting on the database developers to return their work.

Build 1339 includes undocumented test features on the Misc menu, these are only for testing and will be removed or integrated into something else come next beta milestone, BETA 6.

I am still hiring database developers for the project, If you think you are up to the task, please email me. Microsoft Access 2003 or greater is a prerequisite for this position. Successful applicants will be in charge of keeping the database updated with Pokemon related info, as well as correcting problems that arise.

Please note that the new forum URL is http://apps.sourceforge.net/phpbb/nwpps2kx/ . Please do not use the old phpBB2 forum at this time.

The screenshots on the website will be updated (as they no longer reflect the current look of the program) prior to the eventual release of BETA 5. Stay tuned for more information.

BETA 5 is progressing, but not as fast as I might like. It should be available by Christmas at any rate.

BETA 4 has been redownloaded to sourceforge, as it didn't seem to already be on the site.

Website construction is still going ahead and should be finished soon, while BETA 5 is still being worked on and should be finished by Christmas. There are no promises however.

BETA 5 changes are now available to view, in the wiki. Please note that these changes are subject to change themselves before the actal BETA 5 release.

A new BETA is currently in the works, it is why I haven't been posting that many updates. My time to work on this program (between WoW and my Job, which I love) is however still limited, so updates will still be few and far between.

The website should be updated during the week with information from the BETA.

The forum has moved again, this time back to sourceforge.net. We are still setting it up, though you can find it here.

Uploaded an old test build of version 1275, which was cancelled, to sourceforge.

The new website layout is nearly ready for upload, a few more days and it should be ready. In other news, BETA 4 is going fairly well, but I wish the progress in the database was better.

Again, Sorry for the long time without an update guys! I've been really busy with my studies. Rest assured I am still working on the next BETA of the program suite. I'm almost finished some parts of the user interface and will begin the rest shortly. Please stay tuned!

Developers please note that the programs source code requires Visual Studio 2008 or Visual Basic 2008 Express. But the final executable still requires .NET 2.0, It was a design decision not to use features from the 3.0 and 3.5 versions of the framework at this stage of development.

Sorry for the long time without an update guys! I've been really busy with my studies. Rest assured I am still working on the next BETA of the program suite. I'm just rewriting a few things. Hopefully the BETA will be out by Christmas, but I'm not promising anything.

Also note that the website has changed URLs. The website can be found at nwpps2kx.sourceforge.net so please update your links!

More BETA 4 gossip for ya! Generation 4 sprites and audio have been added to resources. Several program functions have had to be changed to accommodate the new Pokémon, but the base functions themselves remain the same. On a related note, some program sections will have themes added to them...

As in previous releases, the resource support libraries will be optimised by removing unused classes and functions.

More information on BETA 4 will be coming over the next few weeks. Stay tuned for more information as it come to hand.

Purely for historical purposes, I will be uploading some of the very early (PRE .NET) versions of NWPPS to the sourceforge servers. The 2005 version of the Ability Database, written in Real Basic for Windows and Mac will be available in the same .zip file and will be uploaded onto the sourceforge servers as soon as I get a bit of free time to do so.

NWPPS 2.0 BETA 4 is still being worked on. Check the project news section on the project's project site on sourceforge, otherwise, go here.

Some information on the upcoming NWPPS 2.0 BETA 4 release has been uploaded to the project news section and to the RSS feeds. No release dates have been set at this time. Expect more bug fixes and possibly the revival of one or more features I have previously postponed...

Check the project news section on the project's project site on sourceforge, otherwise, go here.

Some parts of the website are being overhauled to coincide with the latest NWPPS 2.0 BETA 4 news. Please excuse the look while the upgrades are being completed.

I can inform my fellow trainers that the Program Suite is not dead. It's just been staggered a bit due to my studies. I won't let it prevent me from releasing a mostly bug free BETA 4 however.

Yes, this is an acknowledgement that I am now working on BETA 4 of the program.
